SAFC Welcomed as Latest NECC Partner

The North East Chamber of Commerce has officially welcomed a new Partner Member at its latest event held last week.
Sunderland AFC was formally welcomed as an NECC Partner Member at the latest Partner meeting which took place at the Stadium of Light.
SAFC have worked closely with NECC for many years and have close links with the NECC network through SAFC's commercial director, Gary Hutchinson, who also chairs the NECC Sunderland Committee.
Jo Fryett, NECC head of partners, was delighted to welcome the football club to the already prestigious group of regional businesses.
She said:
"NECC is very proud to welcome Sunderland AFC as a Partner Member. We have worked hard with SAFC to promote Sunderland as a vibrant commercial area and this new step in our relationship will certainly see those efforts increase."
The meeting itself was an opportunity for Partners to discuss the aims and objectives of NECC's 2012 Manifesto and set out ways in which Partners can play a greater part in setting and influencing the agenda for the North East.
The Partners were joined by Alan Ross and Susan Bilton of executive coaching organisation ARK Associates, to help them explore ideas and plan in-depth, in order to help NECC achieve the aims of its manifesto.
Jo Fryett added:
"I'd like to thank both Alan and Susan for joining us today. Their expertise and knowledge have provided us with some great ideas on which we can shape an agenda to achieve our aims for the year ahead."
NECC Partners are selected to represent businesses across the range of sectors in the North East and are part of an exclusive group of members that work with NECC to influence and shape its agenda.
