Northumbrian Water serves a population of 2.6 million people in the North East of England with water and sewerage services and 1.8 million in the south east of England.

Northumbrian Water continue to focus on its core competencies of water and waste water management, aiming to deliver value to all the stakeholders by being a leading performer in the industry.

Over the last few years Northumbrian Water has invested around £350m to build a secure and sustainable future for the region's water and wastewater services while maintaining low costs for their customers.

Working with NECC

Northumbrian Water works with NECC to provide advice to businesses, particularly through recent period of cold weather. Northumbrian Water also provides its expertise and position to develop regional infrastructure of essential utilities support to businesses. Northumbria Water also supports NECC's council and local committees whilst John Mowbray, Director of Corporate Affairs at Northumbrian Water, is chair of partners and closely involved with the running and aims of NECC.
