Committed to the pursuit of excellence, Teesside University continues to invest in research and new facilities. This commitment is reflected in the £120m investment of the town campus in the heart of Middlesbrough.

The University has an international reputation for excellence in enterprise and is proud to be 'passionate about learning.'

Working with NECC

NECC and Teesside University work closely to address the skills gap for businesses within the region. Through the combined efforts to increase skills and employer engagement through higher education, The Foundation Degree in Leadership and Management was developed by NECC and Teesside University.

The success of the Foundation Degree was recognised when it was named the Outstanding Employer Engagement Initiative of the Year at the Times Higher Education Awards 2009.
Teesside University supports NECC across a number of other efforts, including the sponsorship of the 2009 Tees Annual Dinner.

Testimonial

"The University has enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with NECC. The University takes great pride in its work with business and the public sector. Our partnership with NECC has allowed us to engage much more closely and much more rapidly with the business sector than would otherwise have been the case and there is no doubt that the University's success in achieving the Times Higher Education Supplement "University of the Year Award" was in part founded upon our relationship with NECC and its partner organisations."
