Give us a brief overview of your business.

Our headquarters is located at T1 Traynor North, Traynor Way, Peterlee, SR8 2RU. We have teams operating from 13 offices across the UK.

We have grown from 19 to 60 employees over the last year. This sustainable growth has been accomplished following increased workload and national contract wins.

The plan is to continue this growth throughout 2024 as part of our ongoing expansion, while maintaining our client focus and commitment to high quality services

The company provides a wide range of specialist environmental consultancy services including asbestos surveying, bulk sampling, testing, asbestos awareness training, asbestos removal, demolition, and ground remediation. We undertake work for clients large and small throughout the UK. Our overriding aim is to treat every client and project with the highest possible standards in health and safety. Our focus on high quality keeps our clients returning for multiple projects. Our company is accredited to the highest standards in asbestos accreditation (UKAS) alongside our Health and Safety accreditations to CHAS, SMAS, CL:aire, ATaC, Constructionline and UKATA. All of our staff are fully trained, audited and vetted to carry out our work.

Tell us about a recent business success.

The business is growing rapidly and rather than focus on one recent success, we can point to a number of significant milestones during the last 12 months.

  • Our headquarters has relocated to County Durham, which is the home to our senior leadership team, operations, administration and training facility
  • We have established a new operational base including warehouse and workshop facilities for our removal and demolition departments.
  • We have added to and strengthened our management team, to enable us to grow at pace while maintaining our outstanding record on quality and health and safety.
  • The number of projects undertaken has increased from 5,000 to 25,000 over the past year.
  • We have established an in-house asbestos laboratory and air monitoring department headed by an extremely dedicated and experienced team.
  • Multiple national contracts have been won and are now ongoing giving the team foothold for further growth and expansion into new areas of the country.
  • As we look to the future, we are excited to continue this journey of growth and innovation ensuring our commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Why are you a Chamber Member?

Whilst we operate across the UK, we are very proud to have our headquarters in the North East. As such, it made perfect sense to have our membership to the Chamber in our local area. The Chamber provides us with an opportunity to connect and network with local, like-minded companies. It also helps us to promote ourselves to the wider community and assists us in offering people from our region high quality, sustainable jobs. In that respect, we want to play our part in the regeneration and future prosperity of the region and its people.

Moreover, the Chamber gives us an appreciation of the political, social and economic issues facing the North East and allows companies to benefit from collaboration and synergy in an effort to make a difference to the region.
