This week we caught up with Ich Dien Solutions Ltd to find out how they’re going further with Chamber membership.

Give us a brief overview of your business.
Ich Dien Solutions Limited is a leadership and training consultancy based in Northallerton.
We bring skills from a lifetime of vocational leadership to improve organisations and the effectiveness of the people within them, focusing on values based leadership first to develop positive culture and ethos. We also offer coaching and hypnotherapy. In particular the hypnotherapy can free you from those constraining fears and anxieties, or remove those limiting and frustrating habits and thoughts, unlocking your true potential.
We work either through workshops or on-site consultations, and will be delivering leadership CPD on board a yacht in 2024. The National Association of Colleges and Employers reports six of the most wanted skills in industry and commerce are: problem solving skills, ability to work in a team, strong work ethic, analytical and quantitative skills, communication skills and leadership qualities. We have constructed our ‘Sailing CPD’ days with that in mind. The Sailing CPD is aimed at leaders and managers developing their style, or those who want to start their development journey. And also getting the chance to learn the basics of how to sail a yacht on the River Tyne and North East coast.
We have also facilitated two conferences for clients.
Tell us about a recent business success.
Securing a coaching contract with a Yorkshire university, leadership training with a multi-national green energy company and talking leadership with another university’s MBA students. I also chaired at an International Conference in London.
Why are you a Chamber Member?
I want to better understand the commercial fabric of North Yorkshire and the North East of England, understanding better how we can help companies with their leadership difficulties and dilemmas and their coaching and hypnotherapy needs. We went to our first North East Chamber of Commerce event in Sunderland last month, meeting lots of new people, learned loads and had some fun as well. Then attended our first Chamber Expo this month in Teesside, meeting other businesses in the area and sharing ideas, like Sailing CPD.
