Give us a brief overview of your business.
NC Group Ltd are an independent training provider based on Aycliffe business park who specialise in bespoke training courses and apprenticeships around manufacturing and engineering including Management and Health and Safety.
We develop working relationships with employers through our ethos of adding value through people development. From the outset we encourage the employer to tell us want they want from the training/apprenticeship so that we can build the programme to fit around the organisation and its values thus making it relevant to your employees so they get the most out of the experience.
NC Group also offers Pre-employment training programmes which are a great way to help people develop the necessary skill sets to kick-start their career. Our courses are tailored to your individual business needs and are designed to provide improvements in staff retention as well as increasing the starting skill levels of your people.
Tell us about a recent business success.
We have recently been awarded Small Business of the Year at the Aycliffe Business Park Make Your Mark awards. This was a fantastic achievement for us and was felt throughout the organisation.
This award recognised our dedication to providing employers and learners with an exceptional service and helping the local economy with a boost around employment and upskilling to fill skills gaps we currently have in the area.
Why are you a Chamber Member?
NC Group became members of the Chamber in order to become more known in the North East and be able to provide our unique service to other employers in the region.
We have made a number of fruitful connections since becoming a member in 2024 including a potential partnership with another Chamber company to deliver further apprenticeships in other sectors and this is gather pace towards the new education year so watch this space for what becomes available on the apprenticeship front.
