Give us a brief overview of your business.
Together, we’ll tackle those life blockers in a calming, safe, and confidential space. You can share your future aspirations without fear of judgment. I will use my full range of skills to help you achieve your goals, allowing you to address past events that are holding you back and move forward with confidence. I will keep you accountable for your goals, challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, change your routines, and start living an amazing life.
With the cost of living increasing dramatically, many families, including your employees, face the difficult choice between heating their homes and buying food. As a result, they struggle with financial difficulties as well as physical and mental distress, which can lead to isolation and burnout. These issues ultimately affect business production rates, increase sickness levels, and reduce profit margins. According to the Office for National Statistics, 185.6 million days were lost to illness in the UK during 2021, averaging 5.7 days per worker. Implementing a wellness program can help reduce these figures and foster a more positive workplace environment.
I am fully qualified and experienced in providing a wide range of therapies. I regularly assist people with fear and phobias, anxiety, pain management, trauma, and post-traumatic stress. I tailor my approach to each individual, using a variety of skills executed in a personal and heart-centred way.
Tell us about a recent business success.
I have recently conducted several workshops for the Power of Women initiative at a secondary school, working with Year 10 and Year 11 pupils. These workshops focus on increasing confidence, fostering positivity, setting goals, and highlighting the impact of powerful women in the workforce.
In addition, I volunteer in primary schools to empower young children by introducing them to various industries in the North East. I am about to spend a day with Year 6 pupils, providing them with tools for self-confidence as they transition to secondary school.
I also recently led a workshop for the MFC Foundation on team building and discussed further wellbeing workshops.
Working with my private clients to address life events that have impacted their mental state, I provide therapy to clear blockages and life coaching to help them move forward. It’s incredibly inspiring, and I am grateful for the positive reviews I receive:
“I found Ruth online and didn’t look back. I’d left my job and was mentally the lowest I’d ever been in my life due to confidence issues, personal issues and workplace bullying. Ruth helped me navigate my way through my emotions, build my confidence back up and gave me the tools I needed to leave the house again. I can now walk past my last workplace without having a feeling of doom, or choosing another route. My family have commented on my development and I owe it all to Ruth. Thank you so much Ruth, you truthfully have both changed and saved my life with your sessions.”
Why are you a Chamber Member?
After attending a networking event as a guest, I realised the immense potential of becoming a Chamber member.
Their membership offers not only valuable connections with other professionals, but also access to additional services that can significantly benefit my business.
