As of 28 October, all twelve North East Local Authorities will be using NEPO’s e-procurement system, Open. This means that going forward anyone wishing to do business with NEPO or the local authorities must be registered on ‘Open’. Registration is free and can be done online.

Open was built by NEPO in partnership with the twelve North East local authorities and wider public sector. It is the result of extensive collaboration and a shared ambition to drive excellence in public sector procurement. This innovative platform will transform the way public procurement is managed across the region, making it easier, more transparent and more efficient for businesses to engage with local authorities.

This means that anyone looking to provide goods, works and services into any/all of the twelve North East local authorities, then you must do so utilising the new ‘Open’ platform.

By joining ‘Open’, you’ll have access to over 6,000 business opportunities every year across the region. It’s a fantastic chance to grow your business and collaborate with local authorities in the North East.

Registration is free and easy to complete – so don’t miss out, register today  www.open-uk.org
