What can businesses do to reduce violence against women?
Date published:
This webinar is looking at what businesses can do to support their teams and help to reduce violence against women.
Recorded instances of domestic abuse, the number of domestic-abuse related crimes and the number of calls to the National Domestic Abuse Helpline have all increased during the pandemic.
Businesses play a vital role in recognising those at risk of experiencing domestic abuse or violence, and can be critical in supporting women, ensuring their safety and making sure appropriate action is taken where these incidents are occurring.
There is a role too for men, who as well as being victims of violence themselves, are also crucial allies in supporting women.
The pandemic has changed how businesses and their employees interact, with furlough and remote working in particular making those relationships more distant in many cases.
What can we all do to make sure businesses still do everything they can to support their teams and to reduce violence?
