AR Power are commercial solar installers based in the North East, helping companies and organisations across the UK save money on their energy bills and get closer to achieving NetZero.
Established in 2011, we have a large in-house team consisting of designers, project managers, operations teams, customer services, operations & maintenance teams and more. We also have our own solar installation teams meaning we don’t subcontract work out no matter where you are in the UK.
Our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, CHAS Elite, Safe Contractor, MCS, Cyber Essentials and other certifications ensure we carry out our commercial solar installations to the highest quality, as safely as possible.
We are trusted by Newcastle City Council, Durham County Council, South Tyneside Council, Dunelm Stores, University of Sunderland, Northumbria University, Dacon Fabrications, Port of Blyth, Riverdale Paper, BHK, Encore Envelopes, Salem Tube, Atlas Copco, The Metal Drum Company, Slaters Electrical and many more.

Tell us about a recent business success.
We are always growing as a business, having just recruited 5 new employees taking us to over 30, attracting the best talent in the North East, enabling us to offer an unrivalled service to our customers.
We are currently helping a number of businesses and organisations not only in the North East but right across the UK save money on their energy bills and get closer to Net Zero by installing solar to their premises and continue to quote for a lot more work as more and more organisations look to install solar to their premises.
Why are you a Chamber Member?
We have joined the Chamber for the many benefits that it brings. The events, networking, and support they provide. We also want to make members aware that we are here to help and are ready to answer any questions about installing solar related questions they may have. We’re really looking forward to doing more with the Chamber and it’s members throughout 2024 and beyond.
