Based in the North East, Hargreaves Services PLC is proud of its regional base and is looking to support other North East-based businesses through its offering of 1st class waste solutions.

Within this group, Hargreaves Environmental Services leads the charge in delivering sustainable solutions for resource recovery and environmental management. As part of this division, Hargreaves Waste Management Services plays a pivotal role in supporting the UK’s transition to a circular economy. The team specialises in recycling, recovery, and energy conversion, offering tailored services to both waste producers and operators.

We operate under three core service pillars: Waste Merchant, Site Operations, and Total Waste Management (TWM). Hargreaves Waste Management Services Ltd (HWMS) has recently extended its coverage into Southern England following 3 years of rapid progress, expansion and success in Yorkshire, Northeast England, Northwest England & Scotland. This success is best demonstrated through our customer base, with HWMS working with the likes of Sunbelt Rentals, ICL, Suez, Biffa, Viridor, Yorkshire Water, Scottish Water, Lancashire County Council etc.
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
From a group perspective, Hargreaves Services plc is proud to be a member of the Chamber and has played an active role in networking, brand awareness and lobbying for business change and improvement for the region. While Hargreaves Waste Management Services Ltd (HWMS) has specifically been able to gain knowledge and experience from the chamber team and its membership.
