This week we caught up with the social media training team to find out how they’re going further with Chamber membership.

We are based in Team Valley in Gateshead.

Give us a brief overview of your business.
North East Social Media Ltd is a training company created to teach businesses how to use Social Media effectively!
North East Social Media offers the following services:
- Training in the efficient and effective use of Social Media. We teach marketing on all platforms via bespoke 121 training, via Zoom or face-to-face. Providing a full range of training from beginners to advanced advertising and strategic planning.
- Social Media Management. We work closely with our clients to help them to market their businesses and offer various packages, all of which may be tailored to suit and individual business.
- Website Design and Creation. We work mainly in WordPress.
- SEO – we both teach SEO and also offer this as an ongoing service.
Amanda Dixon has been teaching businesses and managing social media accounts since 2010 and has been part of the Meta Business Team, in her capacity as Facebook Lead Trainer, (one of the original 23 people outside of Facebook employees to have this role) and a Facebook Digital Marketing Associate.
Tell us about a recent business success.
Recently we took over the management of a business, which has been established for over 30 years and had a website which was not being found on Google Searches.
Within 3 months the company now has an engaging online presence via social media and is No1 for their preferred search terms, organically, on Google.
This example is a regular outcome with our management packages.
Why are you a Chamber Member?
I have been a member of the Chamber for years, and have built my business on networking. From meeting people and building relations ,thus gaining business at events, to the referrals from the Chamber team I wouldn’t be without my Chamber membership.
