Tell us about a recent business success.
I am very proud to have won the 2025 Winner of the Startup Awards North East – Scaleup – Impact Category earlier this year!
I’m also beyond excited to share a huge milestone… my debut book, My ADHD Superpower: Your Real-Life Guide to ADHD. Unlock Potential. SMASH LIFE, is officially out!
It’s been two years of dreaming, writing, wrestling, and believing, and it’s finally here. The book is raw, real, and relatable – for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, restless, or “too much,” and for anyone wanting to live with more passion, creativity, and purpose.
As a little thank you, it’s available for free on Kindle from 6–10 December, but also available in paperback, a great gift for someone you know! You can read it on any device using the free Kindle app, and it’d mean the world if you grabbed a copy – every download and share helps get the book into the hands of people who might need it most. Plus, a contribution from every book sold goes to the Northumberland Wildlife Trust to plant trees! You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G52Z46V5
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
During the last 3 years, I have met so many great local businesses that have helped me connect and feel inspired to achieve more. Including Ann English along the journey, who has helped me with incredible visual mind mapping and creative support for bringing my newly-published book My Adhd SuperPower to life. The friendships and connections are invaluable and I think the NECC is a brilliant business community and I just love all the events I attend.
