This week, we caught up with the inspiring non-profit social enterprise team and how they are utilising their Chamber membership.

Where are you based?

We are based in Morpeth, Northumberland!

How many employees do you have?

We are a team of 8!

Give us a brief overview of your business.

STEMAZING is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to inspiration and inclusion in STEM.

We work with women in STEM, allies, educators, organisations, institutions and families to collectively build a more diverse and inclusive STEM future.

We support STEM role models to empower themselves and inspire the next generation, and we work with Primary Schools to raise awareness and aspirations in STEM and smash gender stereotypes!

Tell us about a recent business success.

Since being established in 2020, STEMAZING has trained over 750 women/non-binary people in STEM, delivering over 195,000 STEMAZINGKids engagements in primary schools with high numbers of children on free school meals.

This level of impact was recognised in September of this year with a National Diversity Award, which more can be found here!

You can also see what we have been up to this year by reading our Impact Report of 2025 here!

How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?

Already, Alex has had the opportunity to take part in panel discussions through the Chamber, including at the Inspiring Women in Business Conference earlier this year. It’s been a great way to connect with inspiring people, and we’re really looking forward to building on that at upcoming events.
