This week we caught up with the team at the immersive production company to find out how they’re going further with Chamber membership.

We are based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Give us a brief overview of your business.
Tiny Dragon is the one of the UK’s leading immersive experience companies.
Bringing together creative storytelling and digital entertainment to develop new, immersive events in a variety of commercial locations for mass mainstream audiences.
Tiny Dragon’s Immersive Rooms combine video, sound and lighting with original narratives to create something unique that audiences of all ages can enjoy. Housed in portable spaces such as shipping containers and projection tents the experiences are transportable to different sites and venues, and the content can easily be refreshed with exciting new themes and storylines.
Formed in 2021, Tiny Dragon is led by Matt Runham and Pippa Fox who have extensive experience in producing successful theatre and dance along with project and event management.
Tell us about a recent business success.
Tiny Dragon’s newest collaboration with Pixel-Lux Video Design Company is Dive Into The Blue. A 15-minute adventure taking family audiences to a breath-taking world beneath the waves at one of the North East’s leading leisure hubs.
Set within a redesigned shipping container at STACK Seaburn in Sunderland to create a lifelike submarine atmosphere, and using the latest sound and video technology to immerse audiences in a world of playful dolphins, majestic whales and thrilling shark encounters. This ran over from the 12th July to 22nd September 2024 at STACK Seaburn in Sunderland.
Over the next 18 months the company will be developing new ideas that can take audiences on a magical sleigh ride with Santa or be immersed in a terrifying zombie apocalypse.
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
As recent members of the NECC we’ve already benefitted from new contacts and connections through the networking events which are helping raise our company profile and foster new and exciting partnerships for the future.
