Cleveland Cable becomes Pioneer Partner with £25,000 donation to Teesside Hospice

Teesside-based Cleveland Cable has strengthened its support for Teesside Hospice by becoming the charity’s first-ever Pioneer Partner.

Teesside-based Cleveland Cable has strengthened its support for Teesside Hospice by becoming the charity’s first-ever Pioneer Partner. Through the landmark partnership, the company will donate £25,000 each year, helping the Hospice provide vital end-of-life care and support to local people and their families across the region.

This is the next step in a long-standing partnership, which includes over 10 years of support and 8 years of consecutive giving. The £25,000 will provide over 900 hours of expert nursing care at Teesside Hospice, ensuring dignity, comfort, and support for patients receiving care in the 10-bed Inpatient Unit.

Glynn Bartliff, Renewable Energy & BESS Strategic Account Manager at Cleveland Cable, said: “We’re incredibly proud to become Teesside Hospice’s first-ever Pioneer Partner, strengthening a relationship that has meant a great deal to us for many years. Taking part in the Italian Job Rally earlier this year was a fantastic experience and a real reminder of the difference the Hospice makes across our community. We’re looking forward to continuing to build on this partnership and supporting its vital work for years to come.”

Justine Cook, Company Secretary at Cleveland Cable, added: “Teesside Hospice holds a very special place in our hearts. We’ve seen first-hand the care, compassion and support it provides, with one of our own colleagues having benefited from its services. Becoming their first Pioneer Partner means a great deal to us and reflects our commitment to helping ensure the Hospice can continue to be there for local people and their families at some of the most difficult times in their lives.”

Corporate Partnerships Manager at Teesside Hospice, Hassan Hameed, added: “I’m overjoyed by the continued support of Cleveland Cable and their staff. We support around 4,000 people across Teesside each year, at a cost of around £7.5 million per year, and that just wouldn’t be possible without this kind of support from local businesses. This groundbreaking partnership with Cleveland Cable Company sees them become the first Pioneer Partner of Teesside Hospice and cements their commitment to Teesside Hospice.”
