Newcastle’s Everything Managed Group celebrates record revenue and job creation

Newcastle-based Everything Managed Group has more than doubled its turnover over the past three years, reaching £60 million.

Newcastle-based Everything Managed Group has more than doubled its turnover over the past three years, reaching £60 million. The business now has a team of 180 and is aiming to double again by 2029, taking its workforce to 300.

Founded in October 2021, the group is the parent company of Waste Managed, a commercial waste broker working with businesses across the UK. As it approaches its fifth anniversary, the group has reached a major milestone, welcoming its 40,000th customer after adding 10,000 new customers in just over two years.

To make room for its expanding team, the company has taken on additional space during the past year and now occupies four floors of its Grey Street building. The group have also invested over £500,000 in a complete refurbishment of the premises.

Twenty roles are currently open across IT, data, technology, sales and customer service, and further vacancies are expected to follow. With this growth, there are also many opportunities for locals to grow within the business across multiple departments.

A key focus for the group is creating opportunities for young people starting out in their careers. At a time when youth unemployment is a growing concern across the country, the company is taking the opposite approach by investing directly in developing young talent. Several apprentices already work across the business, and the company will add more apprenticeship places over the coming months.

This commitment extends beyond the workplace too. Working with Newcastle College, the group now displays artwork created by local art students in its office, with each piece exploring the theme of sustainability.

“Investing in early years talent as well as those looking to change careers is crucial to us as a company”, says Damon Smith, Group CEO. “We want to be the region’s centre for excellence for those looking to start or change a career, and this growth is a big step towards that. We’re not just hiring, we’re building a training ground for talent, where anyone with the right attitude can succeed. With so many young people currently out of work, I encourage more employers to do what they can and invest in the incredible talent on their doorstep”.

Over the next few years, the group intends to widen the range of services it offers, helping brands stay compliant and manage their waste more efficiently. The group also plans major investment in technology, including greater use of artificial intelligence to enhance the customer experience.
