Sintons partners with South Shields FC
Law firm Sintons has partnered with South Shields Football Club as it continues its commitment to supporting North East sport.
Sintons has a longstanding record of supporting clubs of all levels across the region, from rugby’s Newcastle Red Bulls and Newcastle Eagles basketball team, through to local grassroots clubs in communities across the North East.
Now it has formed a new partnership with South Shields FC, a National League North team which has seen significant progress over the past few seasons under Chairman Geoff Thompson.
Geoff recently secured a takeover of the club by a Chinese-led consortium, in what was hailed nationally as a huge coup for a non league team, and the club is now planning for the future.
Sintons’ branding will now be seen at the Wolf Competitions Stadium, and the law firm is also sponsoring the away shirt of club legend Dillon Morse, who recently had his testimonial match in recognition of ten years with South Shields FC.
As a law firm working across the North East, including extensively across South Tyneside, Sintons is keen to support South Shields FC however possible, in recognition of the club’s role at the heart of its local community.
Deborah Johnson, business development lead at Sintons, says: “As a business which takes its commitment to communities across the North East very seriously, we are always pleased to lend our support to the region’s sporting teams, which play such a central role in the lives of so many people.
“South Shields FC is a much-loved football club which has achieved so much in recent years, and we are excited to become part of its next chapter and build a strong and lasting relationship with its team.”
Carl Mowatt, commercial director of South Shields, says: “Sintons is a highly respected law firm with a long-standing presence in the North East, and we are extremely pleased to have them joining our expanding commercial network at South Shields FC.
“Partnerships like this are about much more than simply putting a name around the stadium. It’s about bringing great businesses and great people into the South Shields FC family and creating relationships that can grow together.”
