SUEZ in the UK ranks among top 1% globally for sustainability excellence
SUEZ has earned a platinum rating from EcoVadis, ranking it among the top 1% of over 100,000 companies worldwide for sustainability.
EcoVadis evaluates over 100,000 companies worldwide based on their policies, actions and public reporting across 21 criteria grouped into four key themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Companies are scored out of 100 and awarded bronze, silver, gold or platinum status based on their overall performance.
SUEZ first achieved a gold rating in 2023/24 and has now improved its score, earning the highly respected platinum status for 2024/25. This upgrade reflects the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and the dedication of its teams in embedding sustainability into every aspect of their work.
Dr Adam Read MBE, Chief External Affairs and Sustainability Officer for SUEZ in the UK, said:
“Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at SUEZ. To be recognised for not just our commitment to this, but also our actions, amongst businesses globally is true testament to our people and our passion for improving the environment.”
This achievement, setting an example for others in the industry, shows SUEZ’s strong commitment to sustainable business and its continuous efforts to include environmental and social responsibility in everything it does.
