Two North East businesses named national winners at Chamber Business Awards 2025

The North East Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share that two of its members, Southern Asset Management and Square One Law, have been named among just five national winners at the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Business Awards 2025.
Southern Asset Management won the Digital Revolution award, recognising their innovative use of technology to drive growth and efficiency, while Square One Law took home the People and Work award for their commitment to developing talent and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Both businesses will be recognised at a London Stock Exchange Market Close event on Wednesday, 26 November, where the overall Winner of Winners will also be announced.
John McCabe, chief executive of the North East Chamber of Commerce, said, “Having two of the five national Chamber Business Awards winners come from the North East is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the strength, innovation and leadership within our regional business community.
“Southern Asset Management and Square One Law are outstanding examples of North East firms making a real impact in their sectors, and we’re proud to see their success recognised on the national stage.”
