In recognition of World Mental Health Day, join Teesside Mind for an uplifting and inspiring afternoon of connection, conversation, and wellbeing at the beautifully refurbished Wainstones Hotel, Great Broughton.

We're bringing people together from across Teesside for an afternoon of connection, learning and conversation. Through expert insight, personal experiences and open discussion, we'll explore the links between nutrition, stress, brain health and mental wellbeing and how challenges can become opportunities while sharing practical ideas to support our wellbeing in everyday life.

The afternoon will begin with a welcome drink and networking, followed by an introduction to the work of Teesside Mind and the vital mental health support we provide within our local communities.

Guests will enjoy a delicious two-course lunch before hearing from two inspiring speakers:

📖 Keynote speaker, Kate Chaytor-Norris, Trauma-Informed Nutritional Therapist, Nutrigenomics Practitioner and author will explore the powerful links between nutrition, stress, brain health and mental wellbeing. Through practical advice and expert insight, Kate will share how simple everyday choices can help support a healthier mind and better overall wellbeing.

🕯️ Craig from Ignite Candles will talk about his remarkable journey from headteacher to successful business owner and about finding those little flickers of light — small, meaningful wellbeing moments throughout the day.

Following the presentations, guests will have the opportunity to purchase products from both speakers and continue these discussions during our "Time to Talk" coffee session, encouraging open conversations around mental health, wellbeing, and the experiences that shape us.

The event will also feature a fantastic raffle, helping to raise funds that enable Teesside Mind to continue supporting individuals, workplaces, and communities across the region.

Whether you are attending as an individual, representing your organisation, or simply looking to connect with others while supporting a worthwhile cause, this event offers an opportunity to learn, connect and invest in your wellbeing while supporting better mental health across Teesside.

💙 Every ticket sold helps Teesside Mind continue its mission to ensure that no one in Teesside has to face a mental health problem alone.
