Safety of Women and Girls, The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, and the importance of early engagement in designing and delivering safer, more secure environments.
Following the success of our 2024 event, Consultive Solutions Limited is delighted to announce the return of our Developing Safer Environments seminar, now expanded for 2026. Join us on Thursday 1st October 2026 at St James’ Park, Newcastle from 10.30am to 4pm, for a day of expert insight, networking and discussion.
The event is designed to highlight the considerations, from planning to use of an environment/ development where people live, relax, watch sport, attend events, shop and or be entertained. The goal is to develop the understanding that safety and security must be considered from project initiation and to promote the engagement with subject matter experts.
The use of the RIBA Security Overlay, compliance to The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law), understanding specifics of The Safety of Women and Girls, holistic security planning, consequence impact assessment and wider consultation are all mechanisms and should unitised to design and develop safer environments.
