We all know that if we want to become physically fitter, stronger or healthier, we have to train our muscles.

We wouldn't expect to build strength simply by reading about exercise or watching someone else work out.

So why do we expect ourselves to cope with increasing pressure, constant change and the demands of modern work without ever training our minds?

Being proactive with our mental fitness has never been more important. In today's world of hybrid working, digital overload and fewer opportunities to naturally connect and co-regulate with those around us, we need practical tools that help us stay resilient, focused and perform at our best.

Because we're all different, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. You'll be encouraged to try, learn, adapt and grow - leaving with practical strategies you can put into action immediately. After all, we are what we do, not what we say we'll do!

Beth Carr is the Founder of Flourish with Fig, where she helps individuals and organisations thrive through practical, evidence-based wellbeing education and coaching.

After spending over a decade in commercial sales, Beth experienced first-hand the pressures of high-performance environments. She now combines that real-world experience with evidence-based wellbeing strategies to deliver engaging, practical sessions that help individuals build resilience, improve mental fitness and perform sustainably.

Alongside her work with organisations, Beth is studying for an MSc in Nutritional Science at Northumbria University, enabling her to bring together the latest research with practical, actionable tools. Her interactive workshops are designed to move beyond awareness, empowering people to discover what works for them and leave with techniques they can immediately apply in both their work and personal lives.
