John McCabe backs collaborative approach to Mayor’s development zone

John McCabe, chief executive at the North East Chamber of Commerce, has reaffirmed his commitment to collaboration and regional growth at today’s North East CA’s Cabinet meeting.
Speaking on behalf of the North East business community, John highlighted the need for stability, skills and strong civic leadership to secure investment and opportunity across the region. He said:
“What’s good for one part of the North East is good for all.
“In relation to the Mayor’s development zone in Newcastle and Gateshead, we as the North East business community must work constructively with authorities, anchor institutions and investors to help create a thriving, dynamic region.”
