Give us a brief overview of your business.
At Bespoke Integrity Solutions (BIS), we help organisations across the North East and beyond to resolve disputes, strengthen compliance, and build safer, more effective workplaces.
Our services include independent workplace investigations, mediation to resolve disputes, and compliance support through ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 27001 Information Security internal audits. We also provide fraud risk management, training, and advisory services to reduce organisational risks.
I founded BIS after over 30 years in UK law enforcement, specialising in financial investigation, counter-terrorism, and major crime. That background shaped my passion for integrity, fairness, and helping organisations manage sensitive issues in a professional way. Today, BIS supports clients across the NHS, charities, and the private sector, always with a focus on practical solutions that make a real difference.
Tell us about a recent business success.
One recent success was an independent investigation I carried out for an NHS Trust. The case involved a sensitive grievance within the organisation’s senior team. I conducted a thorough, impartial investigation and presented clear findings, which gave the Chair and HR team confidence to make a fair and reasoned decision.
The Chair later commented on how grateful he was for the handling of the case, and that he would recommend BIS to others needing an independent investigation. For me, this success highlighted the value of combining investigative experience with a calm and people-focused approach, ensuring the process was both robust and respectful.
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
Joining the North East Chamber has given BIS greater credibility and visibility within the regional business community. I have attended Chamber Connect, Exchange, and Expo events, which have provided valuable opportunities to meet other members, share experiences, and build connections across sectors.
While new clients have not yet come directly from membership, the relationships built and profile raised through the Chamber are helping lay the foundations for future collaboration. I see Chamber membership as a long-term investment in both networking and demonstrating BIS’s commitment to supporting the North East business community.
