David Allen IT Solutions have been providing award winning IT support and services to businesses for over 10 years, throughout Cumbria, the North East, South West Scotland and further afield. Tell us about a recent business success.

We supported Lloyd Ltd with their IT infrastructure, to gain visibility, reliability and speed.

Our client, Lloyd Ltd have multiple sites across different locations in both England and Scotland and were struggling with slow and unreliable internet connections. They had legacy networking equipment that was outdated and not able to keep up with the demands of their growing business.

As a result, employees were frequently experiencing slow internet speeds and dropped connections, which impacted their productivity and ability to serve customers. They also had multiple internet connections from different providers and found it difficult to reconcile costs.

Technical challenges:

Lloyd Ltd have multiple locations, each with its own legacy networking equipment, which made it challenging to manage and troubleshoot issues.

Lloyd Ltd had also outgrown its existing internet connections at several sites, which were unable to keep up with the increased demand for bandwidth. As a result, employees were experiencing slow internet speeds, which impacted their ability to access both internal and cloud-based applications.

Solutions:

As Lloyd Ltd’s IT provider, David Allen IT Solutions proposed to replace the legacy networking equipment and upgrade the internet connections at all of its sites to improve visibility, reliability and speed. We worked with Lloyd Ltd to design the new networking infrastructure.
David Allen IT are able to manage the network more efficiently and proactively identify potential issues before they impact the business. The investment in modern network infrastructure and management tools has positioned the company for continued growth and success.

The project itself was delivered on time and to a high standard, we had constant communication throughout and any hurdles were overcome quickly. DAIT went above and beyond to deliver this project, ensuring that there was no disruption to our business. Since the project has been completed the company has hugely benefited, we have quicker internet and a much more reliable network meaning employees can get on with their jobs without the disruption we used to have from network issues. It also put our minds at ease that we have future proofed our networking meaning future expansion should be seamless.”
