Give us a brief overview of your business.

Embells is a community support project providing help and support to individuals and families in need throughout Gateshead. We provide emergency food provision, run a weekly community market and food pantry to provide low cost food and other essential goods to our local community while raising funds to support our project.

We bring our community together through offering free weekly meals at our warm space community lunch and work closely with the children in the community to provide free after school and half term activity days.

Tell us about a recent business success.

I am very proud that since I started Embells in August 2022 in the first year we have support over 8000 people in Gateshead through a range of support services.

Why are you a Chamber Member?

To network with amazing business and their staff, to gain more business knowledge and be able to ask people for support when I am unsure. Also to encourage more corporate teams to get involved and support projects like Embells through volunteering support.
