Where are you based?

We are based in Darlington!

How many employees do you have?

We have 4 people in our team!

Give us a brief overview of your business.

The company was founded in 2016 and has enjoyed a great range of clients since the company’s inception. We have worked with a range of national and regional clients in a range of sectors. Most importantly, our clients and their customers are our focus. We take the time to get to know the businesses we work with and provide products, services and advice suitable for their needs.

Tell us about a recent business success.

In 2024 Hubspoke Media launched the Darlington Stream Space Studio – a podcasting space for clients to use. The position is simple you walk in talk the talk and walk out and of course have a coffee whilst you do it. The Hubspoke Media Team handle the editing and production of the podcast producing both the long form and short form content. Since launching the podcast the studio has over 14 different podcasts taking place in the studio. This is supporting organisations tell their stories and spread their message.

Following the success of the studio launch we had the honour of going on the road to Stoltman HQ in Invergordon and filming a podcast with Luke and Tom Stoltman – European and 3x Worlds strongest men. This was with the Never Throw in the Towel Project supporting men’s mental health. We have also filmed with former boxing champ Johnny Nelson MBE and feature James Tindale from Geordie Shore in the studio.

Aside from this we have been on the road to the Great North Air Ambulance and supported a live pod-working (podcasting and networking session). By ensuring that we have looked after the details, albeit at some serious investment, we are offering a quality service and experience.

When clients think of podcasting they think of the long form content – however we have found combining the short form content with the production of Reels has made the difference as this content can be taken on to social media and used to promote the episodes and serve as thought leadership or entertainment on social media.

We are seeing how podcasting supports brand awareness. Podcasting is a different proposition it allows you to lean into in to topics such as thought leadership, education or entertainment without having a pushing call to action. We are seeing businesses broaden their marketing mix and invest in the less transactional forms of marketing i.e. I do one thing and it yields x.

How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?

Being with the Chamber has been great. The large range of networking events have been very interesting and have provided great opportunities to meet people and make connections.

As a Chamber member, we were invited to speak at the Teesside Expo at Wynyard Hall on the topic of podcasting and it was great to share our insights and discuss the subject with people who were new to podcasting, and interested to learn more about it.
