Newcastle College helps more than 16,000 North East students prepare for their
career each year, through its focus on vocational further education,
apprenticeships, employability and professional qualifications. The College's
vision is to develop the skills and talents of its students to succeed in modern
enterprise and make a positive contribution to the prosperity of the North East.
It offers over 70 degrees through Newcastle College University Centre, designed
in collaboration with regional employers to provide a real alternative to
university. It holds the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Silver Award, a
government initiative which recognises excellence in teaching at higher
education level. Newcastle College is proud to be part of NCG, one of the
country's leading college groups and is a key part of providing education and
training to learners, apprentices and employers across the UK. NCG's mission is
to enable social mobility and economic prosperity through exceptional education.
