Give us a brief overview of your business.
Your home should be more than just a place you live, it should reflect who you are. At Colour Brave Interiors, this belief is at the heart of everything I do. I see the home as a sanctuary, a space to unwind, connect, and express individuality. My mission is to help clients move beyond safe, predictable choices and embrace interiors that feel personal, organised, inspiring, and full of character. Through thoughtful design and confident use of colour, I create spaces that are not only beautiful but meaningful.
Many people feel uncertain about using colour, often defaulting to neutral palettes that don’t fully capture their personality or energy. I specialise in helping clients overcome this hesitation, guiding them with clarity and encouragement to make bolder, more confident choices. Whether through rich, layered tones, contrast, or a balance of subtle and striking elements. The result is a home that feels uniquely theirs, a space they never knew they wanted.
Colour Brave Interiors offers a flexible, highly personalised service tailored to each client. From single-room refreshes to full-home transformations, I work closely with clients from concept to completion. Every project begins with understanding lifestyle, tastes, and aspirations, followed by a design approach that blends creativity with practicality. This ensures each space is visually impactful while remaining functional and comfortable for everyday living.
Collaboration is central to my process. I believe great design happens when clients feel heard, supported, and inspired. By building strong relationships and maintaining open communication, I ensure each project reflects the client’s vision while benefiting from my expertise. This balance results in interiors that feel cohesive, authentic, and deeply personal, rather than driven solely by a signature style.
Tell us about a recent business success.
I recently stepped into the world of commercial interior design and successfully completed an interior design project for a men's designer fashion retailer in the North West of England. The project has been a huge success and a collaborative team effort. Not only did we complete the project on deadline (which was extremely tight), the takings are up 70% year on year which is phenomenal.
I recently completed a serviced accommodation project, I have another one underway in Whitby and I am working on a scheme for 5 serviced apartments in Middlesbrough Town Centre. All of these are helping my client's businesses to flourish and in turn my business and skill set are growing too.
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
Being a Chamber member has opened up my network to multiple sectors across the region. I enjoy meeting like-minded people face to face and NECC events enable me to do this.
