Give us a brief overview of your business.
After over 20 years as a Senior PA and booking travel and holidays for directors at work, I started as an independent travel agent almost 10 years ago. I help clients plan holidays that are completely tailored to them. I take the time to understand what each client wants from their trip and then use my expertise and trusted travel partners to create the perfect itinerary - whether that is a relaxing beach escape, a luxury cruise, a family adventure, or a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
My service comes at no extra cost compared to booking online, but my clients benefit from my personal advice, access to trusted suppliers and the reassurance that I'm on hand before, during and after their trip if they need support. My goal is simple - to make travel planning easy, enjoyable and completely stress-free.
Tell us about a recent business success.
Bucking the trend with my clients looking for long haul trips, where general long haul enquiries are slower. An example of this would be a client contacting me about a trip they had been researching online. They had spent hours comparing hotels, flights and reviews and were still unsure what to book. After a quick chat, we narrowed it down to a much better option that suited exactly what they wanted - and saved them hours of stress. Sometimes having someone who knows the industry makes all the difference.
