Give us a brief overview of your business.
We are a baby bank charity, providing new and excellent quality preloved items and equipment to children from birth to 16 years old who are experiencing poverty and hardship throughout the North East. Our vision is for no child to be without the essential items and equipment they need to be safe, happy and to thrive. All of our supported families also have access to our Blossom Service. Blossom is a free and confidential advice line, providing priority access and same day guidance, exclusive to families who have been supported by Love, Amelia. Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Blossom connects you with trained advisers to help you navigate life’s challenges, such as help with understanding benefit entitlement, support with housing, debt advice and much more.
Tell us about a recent business success.
Since the charity was formed in 2019, we have supported over 35,000 children and families across the North East region.
How has being a Chamber member impacted your growth and networking opportunities?
We've met so many brilliant connections at the networking events, especially exchanges. Steph being able to speak as one of the inspiring ladies at this years Ramside conference really expanded our reach and hugely grew awareness of Love, Amelia.
