Give us a brief overview of your business.
Robson Laidler is a firm of accountants and business advisors with a team of over 100 staff operating in Newcastle and Chester le Street.
Since our inception over 100 years ago, our purpose has been to “Make a positive difference to people’s lives”.
This means a commitment to positively impact our people, our clients, and the local and global community.
We deliver the following services: accountancy, business advisory, audit and assurance, management accounts, tax compliance and advisory, payroll and wealth management.
Specialist sectors include healthcare, charity and not for profit, property, agriculture and legal.
We are a member of the UK200 Group and Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA).
Tell us about a recent business success.
In 2021 we became the first accredited B Corp in the North East. This means we are globally recognised for using business as a force for good and are part of a growing community that pursues purpose as well as profit.
We have retained our Excellence Status in the Better Health at Work Awards and last year were shortlisted in the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards 2022.
Why are you a Chamber Member?
We have been a Chamber member for more than 35 years! Being a member of the Chamber has enabled us build valuable relationships with local businesses to support each other with our own services. It helps us to increase our visibility within the business community and helps strengthen our brand. We also joined for continuous expertise and ideas and inspiration from collaboration and events.
