Winn Solicitors - a part of Winn Group - has hired 198 staff in the last 12 months.
Winn Group’s rapid headcount expansion has continued into 2022, with 198 new starters across the company’s stable of titles in the last 12 months.
The Newcastle-based firm now has 494 staff as it seeks to grow amid a series of contract wins and new partnerships being formed.
With a raft of vacancies still being advertised at the legal services organisation, the growth shows no signs of slowing down.
Thanks to the addition of several specialist brokers and insurance partners, Winn Group is set to continue its recruitment drive throughout the rest of 2022.
Bucking the trend of a market that has been affected by both the Covid pandemic and the far-reaching industry-related Civil Liability Bill, Winn Group CEO Chris Birkett is confident the future is looking bright for the company as it goes from strength to strength and outperforms its rivals in the marketplace.
He said: “Even throughout the pandemic, as a group, we have been working hard in all areas of the business.
“As a result of new contracts won, our work volumes have more than doubled from before the start of the pandemic. We have recently expanded our premises and located 75 members of staff into a new purpose-built office space.
“Our sales pipeline opportunities continue to grow and 2022 is proving to be another good year for growth.
“The Group is maintaining its investment in infrastructure, training, recruitment, and technology to make sure our clients continue to receive excellent customer service over the coming years.
“Thanks to our 24/7, 365 days a year first notification of loss operation, together with our unique telematics offering, we continue to attract a number of household names in the insurance sector who wish to partner with us.”
The evolution of the company has seen them take over a third office space across the way from their Brinkburn Street base, adding to their existing offices on Heaton Road, all of which is located in Newcastle.
This is to accommodate a rapid increase in staff, thanks to growth in both the legal, claims, and medicolegal areas of the company, driven by notable contract wins by On Medical 24/7, another Winn Group brand.
